Bakery Manager

Excel Recruitment are delighted to announce we are seeking an experienced Bakery Manager to join our client, a busy retailer in Wicklow.

This role is an amazing opportunity for a Senior Baker, Department supervisor or Pastry Chef who can take charge and lead the bakery team. As Bakery Manager you will have the chance to lead a skilled team and step into a management role. This is a morning shift starting at 7 AM and comes with a generous annual leave package and an excellent store discount.

Salary: €40k-€42k

The Ideal Bakery Manager will:

• Ensure the department runs efficiently and all products reach our high-quality expectation
• Implement all food safety protocols such as HACCP and ensure training is maintained
• Have excellent customer service/ conflict resolution skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment
• Delegate out to the team to achieve deadlines set out by management
• Have a constant drive to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Requirements of Bakery Manager:

• 2-3 years’ experience in Fresh Food Industry
• Knowledge of the Fresh Food industry, current trends and practices is essential
• Ability to work in a team
• Good work ethic and initiative
• Must follow food safety guidelines
