Meat Sales Director
Our client, a leading Irish meat company are currently seeking a Sales Director – Meat to grow and develop business in the U.K and Europe.
Due to our client’s continued success, they are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Director to identify opportunities and take the business to the next level within the UK and European markets. This is a newly created role, ideal for an ambitious self-starter who is eager to hit the ground running, identifying potential sales leads and creating strong sales channels within emerging markets for our client.
In return, our client will give you the tools and autonomy required to develop relationships with overseas client, investigate the commercial viability of new opportunities and deliver results. Salary for the right candidate is €100k+ DOE with a fantastic package.
Who you’ll be
The successful candidate will be passionate about the product, with an extensive background in sales/key account management within the Irish food industry, preferably within meat sales. You will be results orientated and metric driven with a proven, lengthy track of identifying new opportunities and delivering sustainable and profitable results. This Meat Sales Director job requires travel to key markets on a regular basis so flexibility is essential.
The successful Sales Director will have-
- 5+ years’ experience within Sales/ Key Account Manager in the Irish meat/ food industry
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work and make connections across different cultures
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- The ability and drive to work independently and within a team
- The ability to make commercially sound decisions in a fast changing environment.
