Retail Marketing Manager 

As Retail Marketing Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for the creation of the strategy and marketing operating plan for our Irish retail client. The Marketing Manager will have direct accountability for a multimillion marketing budget, managing all regional marketing and events teams and brand sponsorships. You will manage a team of 5 and report directly to the Marketing Director

Who you will be:

A highly experienced and impassioned Marketer, who has 6+ years’ experience in Retail Marketing in a Senior Role. Ideally you will be a Marketing professional within Retail or a large consumer brand. Primary responsibility will be to shape our retail clients marketing strategy and provide strategic guidance and leadership to build and develop the Company’s brands.  Driving a disciplined business approach to brand marketing while acting as brand guardian will be at the core of all business.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to- 

  • Develop and execute long term brand strategy and the processes and brand architecture necessary to execute it. 
  • Protect brand integrity and ensure consistent branding across all aspects of business.
  • Provide strong strategic and operational leadership to the marketing team, fostering an environment of creativity, supported by robust commercial processes. 
  • Accountable for driving footfall by delivering a brand building and volume generating marketing calendar. 
  • Manage marketing budgets and provide cost benefit analysis for all activity
  • Interact with Buying functions to create and deliver a co-operative marketing calendar across the business
  • Build and maintain relationships with the media, the market and the customer base. 
  • Develop and execute a clear customer engagement strategy to include customer loyalty programmes
  • Review and implement PR strategies to maximise positive media coverage.
