Store Manager, Dundrum,Dublin

My client, an international retailer, is looking for a Store Manager, for a fun, very busy and fast paced, high volume retail environment.

There are plans to open lots more stores in the next three years so its an exciting time with great opportunities to progress.

You will currently hold the role of Store Manager or Assistant Manager, but will have experience in all aspects of store operations, including profit and loss, payroll, stock management and be strong in training and developing a relatively new sales team.

The ideal candidate will have lots of energy and enthusiasm who can really motivate a team in providing excellent customer service in a fast paced, high volume, lively environment. 

You will have strong merchandising and visual standards with a good commercial eye.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Recruitment, inductions, staff performance and development
  • Implementing Company policies and procedures
  • Developing team members to maximise every sales opportunity
  • Communicating the store sales budgets and targets
  • Developing the sales skills and product knowledge of each team member 
  • Developing team members to provide a genuine and unique customer experience
  • Developing team members to handle customer complaints 
  • Implementing and communicating brand promotions with the team
  • Providing feedback to Regional Manager about the stores performance
  • Identifying and maximise sales opportunities by reviewing store sales, KPIs, stock requirements and centre marketing opportunities in conjunction with Regional Manager
  • Ensuring all elements of the store reflect the brand and Company expectations
  • Executing the store Visual Merchandising Brief in accordance with the brand
  • Effectively managing salaries, store rosters and leave
  • Implementing and managing Loss Prevention policies and procedures
  • Ensuring all store operations are conducted to Company expectations
  • Co-ordinating stocktakes
  • Effectively managing and controlling store costs (i.e. petty cash, consumables etc.)
  • Maintaining team compliance to Health & Safety Policies and Procedures
