Liffey Valley will undergo a major expansion after planning permission was granted by South Dublin County Council. While the expansion plans were widely known and reported upon, the expansion was dependent on County Council decision. The development will create 225 construction jobs during development phase and 450 full & part time jobs will be created after the development.
The development consisting of mixed leisure, entertainment, commercial units will include:
- Affordable Retail units
- A Local Garda Office in the main retail area
- 2,500 seated Olympic sized indoor ice arena
- A 1,800 space multi story carpark
The expansion will result in an additional 51,545 sq. metres at Liffey Valley which is located at the junction of the M50 motorway and N4 road.
