Relief Pharmacist – North West Ireland

Our client an award winning pharmacy chain are currently looking for an enthusiastic Relief Pharmacist to join their team.

Relief Pharmacist will cover full time hours across stores in Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.

  1. Annual Salary negotiable
  2. Travel costs
  3. Overnight accommodation (if required)
  4. Holidays 25 days per annum


  • Must be registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland. We are also interested in speaking to individuals considering registration in 2019.
  • Previous experience in Irish community pharmacy is an advantage but full training will be given to those coming from alternative backgrounds.

Ideally, the right candidate will hold previous experience in a managerial position, be sales driven and have a passion for retail.

Salary: €30k DOE

Roles and responsibilities of this job:

  • Assist the Management team in ensuring the successful day-to-day running of the store
  • Oversee all the HACCP and Health and Safety procedures to ensure they are always followed appropriately
  • Ensure the store consistently achieves its targets and KPIs
  • Review staff performance, creating staff rosters, and ensuring overall high standards of the store
  • Constantly looking at innovative ways to increase footfall, turnover, and grow margins
  • Manage a large team of staff and having the ability to motivate and lead
