Accounts Assistant
This is a really fantastic opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a well-known Irish Cosmetics Brand based in their Head Office in Ashbourne, Meath (hybrid option).
This is a newly created stand-alone role reporting into the Head of Finance and the ideal candidate will have three years’ experience coupled with a Finance Degree or working towards their ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
Salary is €40K-€45K negotiable but must reflect experience, 23 days holidays, Pension Contribution, Health Insurance and Flexitime.
As Accounts Assistant you will come from a fast-paced environment, adaptable to change and someone who wants to progress with a business that is continually growing.
You will have excellent communication skills, rolling out process improvements and liaising cross functionally with other areas of the business and external auditors and accountants.
You will be experienced with Sage, Excel and ideally multiple currencies.
Responsibilities for the job of Accounts Assistant
- Reconciliation of purchase ledger – including matching POs to invoices
- Allocate creditors payments against purchase ledger
- Handling supplier queries
- Debtors management – including timely debt collection
- Weekly payments runs
- VAT/ROS returns
- Creating monthly sales reports
- Bank reconciliations
- Analysis of all payments and receipts
- Maintaining the Sage database
