Our client is looking for an experienced Purchasing Manager to manage their supply of products and service. The successful candidate will be responsible for the sourcing of equipment, goods and services and managing supplier relationships. You will be performing strategic purchasing activities across multiple categories of spend, searching for better deals and find more profitable suppliers. This role is not only limited just to supply of goods for resale and extends to all purchasing requirements for the organisation. There is a high level of responsibility within the role; the successful candidate will be required to contribute to cross-functional teams across sales, marketing and operations.

Some travel will be expected and may involve staying away from home for short periods.

Requirements

  • 3 years+ Experience in a Buying/Purchasing Management Role
  • Third-level qualification in procurement, supply chain management, or business administration would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, with the ability to generate detailed reports and analyse data
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships.
