Excel Recruitment is looking for Relief Chefs of all grades to join our temporary support team working throughout Belfast. This is a great opportunity to positively change your work/life balance whilst also increasing your culinary knowledge in various outlets and businesses.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- HACCP & Manual handling certs (We can get you training if you don’t have them)
- Available for various shifts throughout the week
- Experience in busy kitchens
- As Relief Chef you will be required to work in various areas of Belfast, so flexibility is required
- Good level of spoken English
Your responsibilities
- Preparing and cooking food to a high standard
- Always demonstrate a passion for service
- To adhere to all food safety guidelines
- Keep yourself, and your work area clean throughout your shift
- Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks

Kitchen team member
Excel Recruitment is looking for a Kitchen Team Member to work in a busy hospitality setting in the Belfast area. This position is ideal for someone who can cook to a good standard and work well under pressure.
Requirements
- Be a fast learner and someone who is confident dealing with changing environments
- Available for various shifts, which may include evenings & weekends
- As a Kitchen team member, you will have knowledge of food date labeling and stock rotation procedures
- Have knowledge of HACCP & Food Safety (This can be provided by us)
- Good level of spoken English
Responsibilities
- Working in a busy kitchen following instructions in a timely manner
- Prepare meals and food to a standard set by the Kitchen Manager
- Work on your own section ensuring it is fully set for service
- Cook food to the standards required by the Kitchen Manager
- Keep yourself and your work area clean at all times
- Follow all health & safety as well as food safety guidelines
