Area Manager
Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an Area Manager for our client in Cork.
Our client is an established and rapidly growing retail company nationwide. This is an ideal role for an Area Manager or a Store Manager with extensive experience.
Salary €65k – €70k
Duties of this Area Manager:
- Ensure that the business reached the performance agreed in the annual budget
- Liaise with the finance department to ensure all accounts are accurate
- Monitor external data and industry trends to identify new areas of opportunity
- Work closely with the marketing team in the development of national and local campaigns
- Build and maintain investment appraisals
- Be responsible for procurement and that suppliers uphold their obligations
- Ensure all legal agreements are up to date and maintained
- Work with multiple departments to ensure business runs efficiently
- Ensure Dealers uphold contractual obligations
- Track the development of senior staff and conduct performance appraisals when appropriate
Who you are as an Area Manager:
- Experienced within Commercial, Sales or Business management field
- Comfortable with P&L and other financial reports
- Experience in driving projects and planning the execution
- Proven commercial acumen
- Ability to develop new relationships and maintain existing
- Experience managing teams
- Experience maximising business objectives
- IT Skills
