The rate of pay: €160 per day
Flexible start time. Early morning shift
Duties:
- Transporting goods and raw materials from a warehouse or manufacturing plant to a retail and distribution centre.
- Plan out your routes in advance and ensure you meet delivery deadlines.
- Oversee the safe loading and unloading of goods.
- Carefully manoeuvre your vehicle into the correct position.
- Inspect your vehicle for any mechanical issues and perform preventative maintenance
- Report any accidents, violations, or defects in your vehicle
- Document distance travelled and keep receipts
- Comply with all relevant rules and regulations. This may include the size and weight of the merchandise, parking, and permitted rest period.
Essential Skills:
- At least a year of driving experience
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and thorough execution.
- Manual Handling Certificate
- Valid CPC
- Holding a good understanding of Health and Safety Legislation, Food Safety Standards and with a good geographic knowledge of the Irish road network

The ideal candidate will be confident and happy to interact with customers during the drops.
Responsibilities of the Rigid Multi-Drop Driver:
- Ensuring that the load is correctly secured between each drop.
- Excellent customer service
- Transporting the goods from the truck to the customer
- Health and Safety conscious – aware of the risks of constantly moving heavy goods.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the client.
Requirements for the Rigid Driver:
- Full clean “C” driving license
- Have all CPC certs and Tacho card
- Strong work ethic
