We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our client in Limerick. As a Duty Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the supermarket, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all departments. This is role is quite varied as you are working with a small management team so you will work across the full store when needed.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a retail supervisory or management role, preferably within the supermarket or grocery industry.

Salary: €33K- €36K, DOE

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the opening and closing of the supermarket, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and according to company procedures
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of department managers and staff, providing guidance and support as needed
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner, striving to provide excellent customer service at all times
  • Implement and enforce company policies and procedures, including those related to security and loss prevention
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of staff members, fostering a positive and productive work environment
