Responsibilities:
- Ensuring all HACCP and Health and Safety regulations are adhered to
- Working towards targets and KPIs
- Stock and waste management
Requirements:
- Previous experience working within a butcher environment
- A proven track record in achieving targets and KPIs
- Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
- Excellent customer service, motivational and organisational skills
- A passion for fresh food

Trainee Butcher – Dublin
Are you looking to progress your career?
Excel Recruitment is seeking a Trainee Butcher for our famous meat expert client based in Dublin.
Our client is a well-known grocery store and is praised by its customers for having outstanding customer service and food quality. This position would suit an individual who is food passionate and is willing to further expand within the field of Butchery. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an award-winning high-experienced team.
The ideal candidate is an individual with at least 1 year Butcher experience and has knowledge of food safety and HACCP. They must have a good attitude and have the ability to work in a team.
Our client is offering a generous €14 per hour DOE
Responsibilities:
- Have excellent customer service
- Ability to cut quality meats, fish & poultry
- Knowledge of HACCP and knife safety
- Ability to monitor waste and stock control
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Requirements:
- Previous experience of at least one year
- Good working attitude
- Effective communication skills
- Passion for food
