Excel recruitment, are currently seeking a skilled HR Officer, situated right in the heart of Belfast City Centre

My client has supported the most vulnerable in society for well over 30 years and has a long-term plan to tackle homelessness in the country.

The Role

  • Provide support and advice to managers on all employment and Human Resource related matters.
  • Meet key performance indicators to support the achievement of the departmental plan
  • Support and contribute to the development and implementation of systems and procedures to ensure consistency and standardisation in service delivery
  • Check work as required to ensure high standards of customer service, quality and accuracy are consistently delivered
  • Collate and provide management information reports (PAMS, Crystal) as required
  • Help establish and maintain effective databases, record keeping and filing systems (electronic and paper based) ensuring compliance with Data Protection etc.

Essential Criteria

  • A HR/other relevant third level qualification.
  • At least 1 year’s experience of working in a Human Resources role (e.g. Personnel / Employee Relations / Employee Resourcing / Employee Reward / Training & Development/).
  • 1 year’s experience of working with PAMS (or other similar HR software).

Desirable Criteria

  • Possession of CIPD Diploma in Human Resources Management / Personnel Management / Training and Development

Excel Recruitment are looking out for a Recruitment Specialist for our client’s business based in Dublin.

Our client is one of Ireland’s most successful food retail businesses. Thanks to their continued nationwide expansion, they are seeking an in-house Recruitment Specialist to support recruitment needs in their Dublin and Kildare locations. The successful candidate will be based across multiple sites, hence own transport is required. This is a Monday – Friday role with occasional weekend work.

The ideal candidate for this position should have experience in talent management and development and have prior experience in recruitment. The candidate should also be able to work in a fast dynamic environment and have great work ethic.

Our client is offering a competitive salary package of €45k – €50k DOE

Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and managing incoming and current talent
  • Sourcing suitable candidates and monitoring recruitment campaigns via CRM systems
  • Communicating with external agencies to supplement candidate pools
  • Implementing efficient recruitment strategies to achieve company metrics
  • Supporting new hires during on-boarding process
  • Talent spotting and succession planning for operational roles at all levels

Requirements Include:

  • Recruitment experience necessary
  • Industrial or FMCG recruitment experience desirable
  • Comfortable leading high-volume recruitment drives
  • Must have own transport as the role is based across multiple sites in Dublin and Kildare
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
