Chef Work Responsibilities

  • Prepare all food products as ordered and within the allotted time.
  • Set up for service by cleaning and washing raw food products.
  • Prepare meat, fish, and poultry portions.
  • Make cakes and sweets as needed.
  • Waste administration
  • Label all food products with information about their shelf-life, food safety, and adherence to HACCP guidelines.
  • Comply with temperature and food safety regulations.

Requirements for Chef Work

  • Previous experience with strong knowledge gained in a busy, high-volume kitchen
  • FETAC or Culinary Qualifications, desirable, but not essential
  • Certification in HAACP Procedures, out of date? (Excel Provides Training)
  • Garda Vetting (also provided by Excel) is necessary for a selection of our clients – Healthcare
