Responsibilities of the Head Chef
Ensuring the highest level of food quality, presentation, consistency, and service is delivered to clients and customers
Working with the development team to create and develop menu items in line with the company ethos of innovation, sustainability, and use of fresh local produce.
Drawing up staff rosters within the allocated budget
Training and mentoring of staff, continuing a culture of continuous improvement and upskilling
Ensuring the highest hygiene standards and compliance of HACCP are maintained in the kitchen and documentation recorded
Ordering and sourcing of produce and stock
Management of costs efficiently in achieving target GP.
