The Construction Manager will gain responsibility for the management of the construction process from inception to completion. We are looking for someone who can communicate effectively and collaborate in a positive and professional manner with all relevant stakeholders.


  • Providing leadership to all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Managing feasibilities and preparing budgets for project approval.
  • Appointment, management and coordination of all contractors, consultants and suppliers involved in the construction process.
  • Management and coordination of Planning Permission, Fire Cert applications and Disability Access Certificate applications
  • Understanding the contract and procurement strategy to enable effective management and coordination of the design and tender process for construction projects.
  • Manage the negotiation and award of contracts for construction projects
  • Understands the project direction and drives the key milestones as contract administrator.
  • Institute a culture of safety, quality, speed, and cost effectiveness across construction projects.


  • Qualified to honours degree level in either Building Services, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Architecture or Construction related degree.
  • Minimum 5 years construction experience
  • Good interpersonal skills with proven ability of collaboration within a multi-discipline team.
  • Strong work ethic, high level of integrity, self-motivated with a creative approach to thinking and problem-solving.

Senior Operations Analyst

Excel Recruitment has an excellent opportunity available for a Senior Operations Analyst to join our clients a Semi-State organisation based in Dublin City Centre.

Our client a Semi-State Organisation based in Dublin City Centre are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Analyst to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an Organisation with a culture of continuous improvement that drives technical and process innovation. The successful candidate will play a key role in both driving and supporting transformative change across the Directorate

Duties will include:

  • Approach problem solving with an innovative mindset, being open to a wide range of technology solutions
  • Project Management of key work streams, ensuring that appropriate project controls are in place within the team to ensure quality control and all work completed to a high standard with a focus on on-time delivery
  • Plan and coordinate tasks and projects for junior members of the team, coordinating work with other senior members of the team, reviewing work, and supporting training as necessary
  • Lead management reporting, ensuring that the content is appropriate, with clean accurate data, and manage the maintenance and development of the reporting systems including KPIs
  • Lead, plan and execute User Acceptance Testing for new system releases and support Factory Acceptance Testing and/or System Integration Testing
  • Draft Change Requests and use cases for new system releases resulting from system improvements identified and modification requests, and collaborate with colleagues to support the management of these with third-party vendors
  • Identify defects and trigger their resolution through coordination with the relevant internal and external stakeholders, escalating where necessary
  • Lead and influence the development of tools, processes, procedures, work instructions, reporting, and/or training documentation to support the effective delivery of key tasks and the Group Strategy


  • Relevant degree typically with 6+ years experience ideally in a regulated environment
  • Demonstrated ability to continuously improve the way we work, creating transparent and easy-to-understand materials for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Excellent analysis, judgment and problem-solving skills along with an ability to make decisions and recommendations in a changing and dynamic environment
  • Exceptional ability to develop and provide innovative solutions to complex issues in a timely manner
  • Strong organisational skills, commercial awareness, and a proven track record of delivery
  • Proven experience in delivering process improvement, change management, and the automation of routine tasks
  • Exemplary communications skills including effective presentation skills and excellent report writing capability
  • Experience in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
