Area Manager – Dublin
Are you a Retail Manager with experience at multi-site level? Here at Excel Recruitment, we are currently seeking an Area Manager to join our client’s business in Dublin.
Our client’s business is a hugely successful retail business, with a number of stores across Dublin and they are seeking an Area Manager to provide support to their Dublin stores.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a manager with experience managing 2 or more sites, with a track record for exceeding KPIs and a demonstrated ability to reach sales targets and increase profitability.
Our client seeks a candidate who is confident and dynamic in their approach to management, who can assist them in taking the company to the next level.
There is a fantastic salary of up to €50k DOE on offer for the successful candidate
Responsibilities of an Area Manager:
- Working closely with Store Managers of these stores, to support the day-to-day operations of multiple stores including two large supermarkets
- Leading staff by example regarding workplace legislation, regulation, acts and amendments and complying with strict standards and work practices
- Assist all management teams to ensure they successfully achieve their target KPIs and objectives
- Take full responsibility for legal compliance across all sites, audit standards and compliance with regulatory bodies
- Be comfortable taking a lead role on a business project bringing it from start to finish including final implementation across all stores
Requirements of an Area Manager:
- A full clean driver’s license and flexible to travel within Dublin, Louth, and Meath
- Several years’ experience in a similar fast-paced environment as an Area Manager, Senior Store Manager or as Head of Operations.
- The ability to work across a multi-site and multi-functional operation
- Experience working with both Microsoft software and retail systems
- A thorough understanding of budget management, sales, margins, and profit
