This client provides treatment to adults with acute and enduring mental health disorders, in a purpose-built and modernised premises. The multi-disciplinary team delivers individualised and group work therapy for service users. Our client is known for its team-based style of working, which provides staff with a great sense of support. This is a brilliant opportunity to gain some valuable experience with a highly regarded healthcare provider.

Psychiatric Nurse Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of patients
  • Practice nursing according to local policies and current legislation
  • Promote good interpersonal relationships with patients, their relatives and other colleagues
  • Act as a mentor to junior staff and students
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and collaborate with the rest of the team on review of care plans and discharge plans

Psychiatric Nurse Requirements:

  • Psychiatric Nursing qualification
  • Registered with the NMBI in the Psychiatric Division
  • Some experience in a similar role is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills

At Excel Recruitment, we are looking to hire a Psychiatric Nurse to join our team. This job position will be based on the North side of Dublin where our various clients are situated.
This is a great opportunity for this candidate as there will be regular and ongoing work. As there are full-time hours available with our clients, you get to pick and choose the days you want to work and the flexibility of day or night shifts.

When working with us you would receive weekly pay and Premium Sunday/Holiday payment also along with accruing holiday hours. The rate of pay for the position is between €28/34 per hour day shift and €32/38 per hour night shift.

Excel Healthcare are hiring a Psychiatric Nurse on behalf of our client in Dublin 9. This role would be based in their daytime service on a Monday to Friday schedule.

This client has recently expanded their service, with a second day hospital opening recently. Outpatients attend daily for a set care programme tailored to their needs. The nursing team is supported by a psychiatrist, psychologist, occupational therapist and a social worker to deliver care through group work or on an individual basis. This is an ideal opportunity for a Psychiatric Nurse looking for a better work-life balance, with daytime hours on a Monday to Friday roster.

Responsibilities of this Psychiatric Nurse:

  • Implement care programmes as discussed with the multi-disciplinary team
  • Deliver therapeutic care in line with current legislation
  • Advocate on behalf of service users
  • Maintain accurate records of service user’s progress
  • Committed to personal professional development and facilitate the learning needs of students

Requirements of a successful candidate:

  • Newly graduated or experienced psychiatric nurses can apply
