Customer Service Manager, Dublin City

My client a leading online gift retailer is recruiting a Customer Service Manager to lead, motivate and coach a busy team in their Dublin City Head office.

Reporting to the Head of Operations, this person will be responsible for the successful operation of the customer service department (B2B & B2C) including all relative processes and procedures.

You will also be involved in any call centre projects.

As a CS Manager, you will oversee the complete relationship with the team and the customer, ensuring all department KPI’s are reached and most importantly that the customer receives first class customer service.

You will be a result orientated people manager with a call centre background and a track record in performance management, training, and development.

Some technical experience with eDesk or a similar platform would ideal, and candidate should be able to use functions such as setting up a new user or creating a dashboard.

My client also uses Magento, BigCommerce and Sapb1.

Salary & Package:

  • Salary up to €50k may be negotiable but must reflect experience
  • €3k yearly commission paid monthly

The job responsibilities of the Customer Service Manager are:

  • Manage and motivate a team to achieve all key performance indicators
  • Develop and deliver training, ensuring the team are equipped to advise on the product range and effectively deal with all customer queries
  • Work with multiple teams to improve cross departmental support to collectively improve our customer experience
  • Constantly drive process improvements, reaching targets on abandoned call rate, turnaround times, ticket handling, sales, and response rate
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members
  • Perform detailed analysis of sales figures and using these to improve the business
  • Arrange staff scheduling and act as first point of contact for staffing issues
  • Manage the telephony solution, reporting and overall success of call routing
  • Advise on adjustments needed to staff schedules to match work volumes
  • Create, maintain, and regularly review SOP’s for the team
  • Identify and resolve problems including key performance metrics, staff optimisation and process improvements
  • Identify and escalate required system improvements
