Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Baker to join our client, a fast paced retailer in Cork.

Salary: €600-€650 pw

Our client is looking for an experienced Baker who either comes from a Scratch Baker background or has worked for 1-2 years in a bakery store or retail bakery department. This is an excellent opportunity to join a passionate team and show off your skills. This role would suit a Night Baker starting at 1.30 am.

Bakers‘ Responsibilities

• Stock management and control
• Reducing waste in the bakery to lower costs
• Drive sales and offerings weekly
• Provide outstanding customer service and always go the extra mile
• Bake: various goods such as cakes, buns, pastries, and bread
• Involved in product development
• Ensure HACCP in all areas of the bakery and best practice
• Work in a fast-paced team environment
• Quality control

The Ideal Baker:

• Bakery experience (1-2 years)
• HACCP training and bakery training
• Work 40+ hours a week
• Ability to be flexible with working hours
• Good attitude, driven to improve
• Team-player
• Driving desirable
