Business Developer, Pharmaceuticals

My client, a Pharmaceutical Buying Group are looking for an experienced Business Developer to join their team. I have two vacancies: One for Leinster and the other for the Midlands-West.

This candidate will be responsible for member (Pharmacy) recruitment, sales development and selling the “one stop shop” product offering as well as the benefits and support of being part of a successful buying group.

Applicants must have experience in pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities for the job of Business Developer, Pharmaceuticals

  • Develop new sales leads, manage existing accounts and identify opportunities
  • Ensure the product offering is seen as best in class in terms of value and support for members
  • Monitor and manage competitor commercial activities & offerings
  • Work with the wider sales team to develop the member sales pipeline
  • Work closely with the cross functional team to develop and shape the commercial offering

Skills & Experience for the job of Business Developer, Pharmaceuticals

  • Sales experience within pharmaceuticals
  • Advanced negotiation and selling skills
  • A proven track record of sales growth and business development


  • Salary €50K-€60K negotiable depending on experience
  • Bonus
