Chef de Partie Job

A Chef de Partie Job is available in a high-volume fine dining establishment in Dublin City. Experience in all sections would be an advantage and the successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience in a similar style of restaurant or hotel.

Requirements of Chef de Partie Job:
2-3 years’ experience as a Chef in a fast-paced restaurant or hotel
Full-service restaurant kitchen experience is desired
Adjust to high-pressure situations in a busy kitchen
Assume responsibility for personal growth and development
Experience in the pastry section an advantage
Conduct yourself professionally at all times while setting the standard for all team members
Express ideas and convey information clearly, effectively and professionally
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities of Chef de Partie Job:
Prepare all food items to order within specified time limits
Wash and clean raw food products and set up for service
Prepare portions meat, fish and poultry
Prepare desserts and cakes when required
Label all food items for food safety and shelf-life standards and follow HACCP procedures
Minimise waste and stock control of food items in your section according to specifications
Comply with food safety and temperature standards
Keep the kitchen area neat, clean and sanitary
