We are recruiting a Restaurant Chef for a busy Daytime operation in South Dublin. This Chef will have experience working at a very high standard with a well-known restaurant or a 4 or 5 Star Hotel. This Daytime Restaurant Chef position would suit someone who is looking to move away from evening, weekend and shift work. This is a Monday to Friday position.
Responsibilities of this Daytime Restaurant Chef Job South Dublin:
Be responsible for day to day service within the restaurant.
Assist with the ordering, rotation and control of all stock.
Carry out all Health & Safety, HACCP, and any other requirements that need to be adhered to.
Achieving targets with kitchen staff and management in order to achieve the optimum food waste while ensuring that operational costs are kept as low as possible.
Ensuring that the required staffing levels of the Kitchen are always met and to maintain operating standards.
Co-ordinate with all areas on service and menu plans.
Requirements of this Daytime Restaurant Chef Job South Dublin:
Enjoy and thrive on working in a fast paced environment with large volume.
The candidate should be highly motivated and energetic.
Must have a minimum of 2-3 years management experience in a high end restaurant.
A high level of attention to detail is required.
Have excellent communication and presentation skills.
Must enjoy Food Service and working with a great team.
