Excel Healthcare are currently recruiting a Director of Nursing on behalf of one of Ireland’s leading providers of residential care for their high-end nursing home in South Dublin

The Director of Nursing will oversee all aspects of care and management at the home with support from a progressive head office team and two Assistant Directors of Nursing on site. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role at an exciting time of change and development at the facility. Our client can offer a supportive working environment along with a very competitive benefits package. This position would suit an experienced Assistant Director of Nursing who is looking to step into a PIC role or a DON who is looking for career progression with the country’s most ambitious provider.

Responsibilities of this Director of Nursing job include:

• Ensuring implementation and adherence to company and HIQA standards, procedures, and guidelines
• Overseeing all resident care and the home’s clinical practice
• Financial, administrative, and budgetary management
• Recruitment, training, and development of all staff

What you need to be considered for this Director of Nursing job:

• NMBI registration
• Natural Leadership, Organisational and Communication skills
• Management experience in a similar environment
• Strong knowledge of HIQA Standards
