Group Residence Manager

Excel Recruitment is seeking a Group Residence Manager for a multi-site complex in north Dublin. This position would suit a General Manager that has hospitality and or facilities management experience that would like to move to a group role. This is an ideal opportunity to join a thriving business with a view to implementing and overseeing a growth strategy for the group.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day to day management of an accommodation complex with multiple buildings
• Ensure building managers perform all required administration and reception duties
• Responsible for all banking and financial accounts as well as the reviewing of accounts for customers and contractors.
• Work towards full occupancy for all rooms during the academic year and explore revenue opportunities for periods outside term time
• Develop and implement a marketing strategy to ensure growth and manage social media outlets and websites
• Build and develop strategic partnerships with stakeholders and representatives
• Manage daily and annual maintenance, Health and Safety protocols and plan for seasonal upgrades
• Responsible for the management of all facilities including managing contractor’s onsite
• Ensuring the safe and orderly running of the complex to include staff training and fire safety
• Responsible for all relevant legal registration and compliance
• Completing competitor and market analysis to ensure the business is on trend with the current costs and practices
• Management of security on site including access to the complex and security systems

Main Requirements

• 5 Years previous experience in hospitality or facilities management
• Strong financial acumen and strategic planning
• Confident leader and communicator with an ability to influence stakeholders
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong IT and systems experience
