HR Business Partner – Part-time

Supply Chain/ distribution HR Business Partner based out of West Dublin / Blanchardstown

Our client a leading Food Retailing and Wholesale Company is seeking to recruit a HR Business Partner to join their Supply Chain/ Distribution division. This is a 3 day week part time HR BP Job where you will provide strategic HR Support and direction to the Supply Chain Leadership team to enable them to achieve their business objectives

The ideal Hr Business Partner for this job would need a lot of experience of working in an unionised environment and implementing change successfully within this environment.

HR Business Partner job responsibilities include the following

  • Provide HR business support & direction to the Supply Chain Director and Senior Managers.
  • Lead on all strategic HR projects across the supply chain network.
  • Provide support and advise on all IR and ER issues across the supply chain
  • Facilitate and measure team effectiveness, motivation and engagement
  • Lead negotiator in union meetings
  • Provide insights and innovative solutions to the team to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Advise the Director and team in relation to current legislation and best practice.
  • Maintain excellent relationships with key union representatives in order to ensure cooperation,
  • Deliver change initiatives in line with the needs of the business
  • Support and coach managers with their business performance
  • Offer support to Manager on team performance issues, appraisals

Experience required for the job of HR Business Partner include the following

  • Degree in HR/Business related discipline or equivalent (CIPD qualified)
  • 5 year+ experience as a HR Manager/Business Partners
  • 5 years + experience in IR/ER including representing the Company at Third Party hearing’s
  • Business partnering skills
  • Excellent knowledge of current and impending employment legislation
  • Experience of interviewing at a middle management/ senior level
  • Proven record of implementing key change projects
  • Strong consulting skills
  • Excellent written, presentation and communication Skills
  • Qualified Coach (desirable)
  • Strong Leadership & influencing skills and previous experience of working at a Senior HR level
  • Strong commitment to personal learning and development
  • Experience of working within supply chain / distribution
  • Full clean driving licence – travel to/between sites will be an aspect of this role

Salary pro rata negotiable
