Here at Excel Recruitment, we are looking for a HR Administrator for our client a successful hospitality and retail group with properties and retail stores across Ireland and the UK.

Our client is currently in a phase of exciting growth and expansion, and they are looking to take on a HR Administrator with experience to join their HR team. This role will offer fully remote working initially with a transition to hybrid work with a head office based in West or North Dublin. Our client is preferably looking for a candidate living in the region of Leinster and will be able to commute to Dublin in the next 3- 6 months. This role would be perfect for a HR Administrator or Junior HR Generalist who is looking to further develop their career and have a lead role in this team. Our client is planning on taking on a large number of new staff in the upcoming year and this role will give the candidate excellent exposure to all facets of HR including recruitment, TUPE processes, employee training and development of new policies and procedures. A HR qualification, CIPD accreditation or a degree in a related discipline is desirable alongside 1+ years of HR experience. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to all elements of HR and this HR position will report to the Group HR Manager.

Our client is offering a competitive salary of up to €30k for this HR Administrator position.

Responsibilities of this HR Administrator:

  • First point of contact for management and employee HR queries
  • Creating and maintaining employee personnel files and updating records such as training files, payroll, and any other relevant information records to hold
  • Managing staff recruitment, screening Cv’s, calling potential candidates, issuing contracts, new starter packs and other relevant documentation
  • Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients
  • Carrying out any other ad hoc duties as assigned including general administrative duties and health, safety, and welfare management

Requirements of this HR Administrator:

  • 1+ years’ experience as a HR Administrator or Junior HR Generalist
  • A HR qualification, or related third level degree is desirable
  • An understanding of Irish employment law and health and safety guidelines
  • Excellent communication, time-management, and organisation skills
  • Have a proficient background in MS Office tools (MS Outlook, Excel & Word)
  • A hands-on approach with a strong work ethic and the ability to work on your own initiative
