Kitchen Assistant

Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Kitchen/Counter Assistant to join our client, a busy retailer in Cork

Our client is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join their team. This job would suit an experienced Deli Assistant or Chef, though all fresh food experience is an advantage. If you are looking for an exciting opportunity and love the world of food this is the perfect role for you.

• Daytime hours
• 35-39 hours per week

Salary: €13.00- €13.50 per hour

Responsibilities of a Kitchen Assistant include:

• Food preparation and the replenishment of food displays
• Providing customers with excellent service and high-quality products
• Ensuring the highest standards of compliance with HAACP and Food Safety requirements
• Assist in developing new and exciting fresh food recipes

Requirements of a Kitchen Assistant include:

• Previous deli/ fresh food/ catering experience
• Previous retail or hospitality experience an advantage
• Genuine passion for customer service
• Desire to learn and develop their skills
• Good time management and eye for detail
