Recruitment Manager

Excel Recruitment are seeking a motivated and driven Recruitment Manager for our Industrial Division. 2021 saw this division grow exponentially and we now have a need for a proven Manager to join Excel Recruitment and guide the growing Industrial team. The successful candidate will manage the existing team of Industrial recruitment consultants as well as taking responsibility for growing this team when necessary. Responsible for the operational function of this division, the ideal candidate will be well versed in people management, client engagement and business development. This is a fantastic opportunity for an existing Manager looking to take that first step into recruitment or an experienced recruitment consultant looking for a move into management.

Responsibilities of a Recruitment Manager

  • Lead, manage and motivate a team of consultants and support staff
  • Drive business development activity and foster a business development culture within your team, activities should include but not limited to: identify new business opportunities, negotiates business deals and maintains extensive knowledge of market conditions
  • Assist team members where necessary to develop, expand and close opportunities including participating in clients visit
  • Deliver on both personal and team target
  • Conduct performance reviews, identify development needs and provide coaching and mentoring to team members to help close gaps
  • Provide performance analysis and reports to Directors when required
  • Ensure team adherence to standardised processes / operating principles
  • Manage and develop personal client and candidate portfolio
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss strategy, sales, operational and financial results
  • Ensure team adherence to compliance
  • Embrace and encourage a collaborate method of working within the team and with other divisions
  • Ensure a positive contribution to social media mediums in order to drive networking, candidate identification and develop client relations

Requirements of a Recruitment Manager

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a fast-paced industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Working knowledge of current employment legislation
  • Proven record of business development and sales
  • High levels of organisation
