Retail Cluster Manager

I am looking for an experienced Cluster Manager to join a not for profit chain of 12 retail stores across North Connacht and South Ulster- ideal candidate would be living in Sligo or Leitrim.

This would be a fantastic step up for a Store Manager who comes from a fast-paced, high volume food, non-food or grocery business.

Vital for this role is exposure to and understanding of profit and loss and managing costs.

You will liaise with your store managers on driving exceptional service and ensuring all company KPI’s are hit whilst ensuring stores are at their most profitable.

Key Responsibilities for the job of Retail Cluster Manager

  • Analyse and forecast sales and monitor all variable operating costs
  • Lead your team of store managers in providing exceptional customer service
  • Motivate the team in delivering the store KPIs and P&L
  • Analyse sales figures and forecast future sales
  • Identify new fundraising and donation initiatives
  • Interpret trends to facilitate planning
  • Use information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning
  • Maintain excellent visual merchandising and store standards
  • Maintain awareness of market trends in the charity retail industry
  • Monitor all variable costs within the limits of budgetary control
  • Organise and prioritising daily tasks, optimising resources and minimising costs
  • Develop your team by acting as a role mode and coach
  • Ensure all company guidelines, procedures and policies are implemented and adhered to

Skills & Experience for the job of Retail Cluster Manager

  • 2+ years store or area management from fashion/grocery or non food
  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • Exposure to P&L
  • An interest in charity
  • Extremely KPI focused
