Senior Staff Nurse

Our client, an Irish Healthcare Provider, is recruiting for the position of Senior Staff Nurse. This role is based in their North Dublin city location and is a great next step for a staff nurse, especially if you are keen on progression.

This residential care home has plenty of character and includes an original church building as well as a new dementia unit. There is a focus on training and development for staff, which is encouraging for those who want to progress in their nursing career. The ideal Senior Staff Nurse will have 2+ years of experience in a healthcare setting and confident in coordinating in the absence of a CNM.

Responsibilities of a Senior Staff Nurse:

• Provide the highest standard of care to residents
• Promote best practice and maintain HIQA standards
• Communicate well with both residents and other members of the multi-disciplinary team
• Mentor and support junior staff
• Lead the team in the absence of a CNM, where required

Requirements:

• 2+ years of staff nurse experience
• Registered with the NMBI
• Evidence of continued professional development
• Knowledge of HIQA guidelines
