My client, a fast paced, high-volume clothing, gift, and jewellery retailer is looking for a strong people leader and champion of customer service to manage one of their Dublin City stores.

This business has a really good reputation for creating a fun, welcoming, collaborative, and vibrant environment for all their team from sales assistants to managers.

You will be a bubbly, energetic and experienced Store Manager. Assistant Manager, Department Manager, Team Leader, or Duty Manager from a busy Fashion, Non-Fashion, Discount or Grocery retailer.

With ten stores in Dublin City there are always opportunities for managers to move around in order to develop and progress and this is especially important to my client and something that they very much focus on.

Salary & Package: €36,400 based on 40 hours with payment for any extra hours worked, Bonus up to €3,640/10% of salary and Staff Discount. Total package worth up to €40,040.

Key Responsibilities for the job of Retail Store Manager

  • Lead your team in providing exceptional customer service.
  • Motivate the team in delivering the store KPI’s including sales, stock, audits, and mystery shops
  • Analyse sales figures and forecasting future sales
  • Interpret trends to facilitate planning
  • Use information technology to record sales figures, for data analysis and forward planning
  • Maintain excellent visual merchandising and store standards
  • Maintain awareness of market trends in the retail industry
  • Monitor all variable costs within the limits of budgetary control
  • Organise and prioritising daily tasks, optimising resources, and minimising costs
  • Develop your team by acting as a role mode and coach
  • Manage day to day operations and administration
  • Ensure all company guidelines, procedures and policies are implemented and adhered to.
  • Analyse and forecasting sales and managing and monitoring all variable operating costs
