Excel Recruitment are currently seeking an exceptional General Manager for our client in Clare. Our client owns a large, high-volume supermarket store and are looking for a strong General Manager who can drive sales and standards in the store.
The General Manager will need proven leadership skills in order to motivate and develop their team.

Your role and responsibilities as General Manager
- Ensuring Management Team is trained appropriately and to the highest standard.
- Ensuring merchandising and presentation of the entire store is of the highest standard at all times.
- Controlling Stocktaking procedures.
- Developing members of staff and the management team through the use of Appraisals, Training and Development Promotion, etc.
- Seeking opportunities to develop yourself in relation to technical training and professional development.
Who you are:
- Prior retail management experience within a Supermarket or Grocery Retail environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven leadership skills
