Excel Recruitment is currently recruiting a Transport Manager for one of our clients based at County Laois. This is a Full Time Permanent position.

Position: Transport Manager

Location: County Laois

Days: Monday – Friday

Salary: €55,000 Annually

Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with transport companies, customers and manage freight requirements
  • Oversee transportation budget and cost, implement initiatives for managing cost and route optimisation
  • Manage team’s performance and KPIs, employee engagement and attendance
  • Follow H&S processes

Requirements:

  • Prior Experience working in a Transport/Warehouse/Logistics environment
  • 3+ years of team management experience
  • Understanding of Transport regulations
