The job of Retail Duty Manager is to work closely and support the Store Manager on all operations and commercial activity. You will drive, mentor and coach store department experts and colleagues in delivering and exceeding KPIs. As part of your remit, you will support all back of house operations, ensuring effective store processes are adhered to and therefore creating a safe, enjoyable, and efficient working environment for the team.

Responsibilities as a Retail Duty Manager include the following.

  • Managing the sales floor back of house and all day-to-day store procedures
  • Communicate and mentor the team in delivering KPI’s.
  • Manage all cash office, colleague rosters, stock control, shrinkage & administration compliance!
  • With the support of the store manager, you will analyse sales data and reports and react accordingly.
  • Recruiting, training, and inductions of new and current colleagues
  • Ensuring the store delivers exceptional customer service.
  • Delivering exemplary commercial floor standards

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 2-3 years managerial experience as Duty, Floor or Assistant Manager in a fast-paced high-volume retail environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong numerical, organisational and analytic skills
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
